The Ice House Brass Band of San Angelo, Texas, is comprised of regular people from the local area.  The 'Banders' come from a wide array of backgrounds found throughout the community. Many of them also being members of the San Angelo Community Band.

The brass ensemble band was brought together in the tradition of 'turn-of-the-century' English Brass Bands, and our music of choice reflects that influence.  But we don't draw the line there.  One of our favorite places to play is Fort Concho, and we also enjoy playing many tunes in our selection of music from that period in history.

Music is our passion, and this is our way of sharing it with our friends and neighbors.  We're always up for playing some tunes and having fun.  No event too great or small - we'll play for anybody, rain or 'shine (although it's preferred if it doesn't rain during an outside performance).

The Ice House Brass library includes music styles including baroque, classical, swing, jazz, Dixieland, popular, hymns, patriotic, German folk songs, spirituals, light opera, Christmas, humorous, and special occasion music for weddings, marches and fanfares.
